About Maluka Estate
At Maluka Estate we produce minimal intervention Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and our flagship wine, Chimera, sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot Noir. We also produce our award winning Otway Olives Extra Virgin Olive Oil and table olives.
Our wines appeal to the modern palate, with crisp acidity, long mouthfeel, and a lasting finish that leaves the palate alive and wanting more.
Our Otway Olives artisan made EVOO is pressed on site and is a consistent winner of multiple awards and trophies.
Our wine and olive oil both reflect the terroir of our boutique vineyard positioned on the sun-drenched northern slopes of the cool-climate Otway Ranges. Vines are hand pruned and picked, with winemaking safely entrusted to award winning winemakers, Dinny and Angus Goonan.
Our “Chimera” cool climate sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot Noir is a blend of our “Abel” Pinot Noir, and “Bernard 95” Chardonnay clones. that are also bottled individually. We plan our first release in 2021.
We are located in Deans Marsh, just 20km from Lorne, on the famous Great Ocean Road.
